Saffron Cookery Workshops for French and English Speaking Gourmets !
Come and join us for a pleasant moment of gastronomy around the preparation of a Saffron and Mediterranean Herbs Menu.
During this exclusive moment, you will discover the fragrance and aroma of this too little used sublimating spice, in the beautiful setting of a converted XVIIth century country house on our Organic farm.
You will learn all about Saffron cooking and discover ways to use Saffron in your recipes (From September to April, there is the possibility to cook/smoke the dishes on the open fire).
Around a welcoming aperitif, we will presenting our Organic and Sud de France Saffron production, notably through the projection of a little film about our methodology and the olfactive discovery of our different wood-dried Saffrons.
We will be preparing the menu (starter, main course, plater of cheese and dessert) together, followed by an on-site degustation of the menu accompanied with the best local wines. Photo de fleurs de crocusMenus would include scallops, foie gras, king prawns, duck breasts fillets … We do our best to propose organic and seasonal products.
Workshops are organised for lunch, on thursdays * in french and/or in English, starting at 11h and for a duration of 3h30 hours minimum

* Reservation should be confirmed by full payment no later than the Tuesday preceding the workshop. Please note that we need a minimum of 8 participants to be able to run the workshop. Should we not have enough people signed up for it on the eave of the workshop, we will suggest another date or you can be fully reimbursed.
